Help Stop Utility Scale Solar and Wind Installations on the Pine Valley Mountains New Articles Added*

Here is background info on a 7000-acre solar farm proposed in 2022.  It was to be built in the Pine Valley Mountain foothills on BLM lands above Utah Highway 18.

In response, a new Facebook group was started to keep the region informed on the many harms such a farm could create.

The company later withdrew their plan but a new one can now replace them.

Each year tens of thousands of tourists and local people enjoy the scenery along Utah Highway 18.  Tourism along that route brings in millions of dollars each year to the county.

Why destroy the stunning scenery we all love?  And forgo the tax dollars it brings in by putting a huge, ugly solar farm in plain sight?
